The building stands thirty seconds from Cardiff Queen Street station. The Victorian arcades are a few minutes away on foot, the castle and St Mary Street under ten, and the Principality Stadium fifteen.
Flat One is the ground-floor apartment. Sitting room, dining table and kitchen share one space at the back of the building, under a pitched ceiling with a rooflight and doors out to the rear, so the light comes from above as well as from the side.
Two double bedrooms and a shower room, so it sleeps four — a couple with children, two colleagues on the same job, or one person who would rather have a flat than a hotel room for a fortnight.
Nothing to carry upstairs once you are inside, which suits anyone arriving with tools, cases or a pushchair. Washing machine and dryer in the flat, professionally cleaned between stays, and bookings of a week or a month are rated separately.

Questions
Is Flat One step-free?
There are no stairs inside the flat and none between it and the front door of the building, but there are a few steps up from the pavement to that front door. If step-free access matters, say so when you enquire and we will be straight with you about whether it will work.
How many does it sleep?
Four, in two double bedrooms. A cot or an extra bed can be arranged — just ask.
Can I book this flat and the others together?
Yes. All three flats in the building can be taken at once, which sleeps sixteen in total without anyone on a sofa bed.
Is there parking?
There is parking very close by and we are happy to arrange it for you for a small extra charge. Mention it when you book.
Is there a washing machine?
Yes — a washing machine and a dryer in the flat, which matters on a longer stay.
Who looks after check-in?
Our management team, Starlight Stays, handle arrivals, departures and anything you need during the stay. Late arrivals are fine — just tell them roughly when you expect to get in.
Do you take pets?
No — we are not able to take pets in any of the houses.
Flat Two, City Centre
Three bedrooms sleeping six, one of them en-suite, and a long open-plan living room with windows at both ends. The shared bathroom has a bath and a shower; one bedroom sets up as a superking or as two singles.
Hear about the big dates first.
Six Nations weekends, autumn internationals and concert dates get taken months out. Leave an email and you will hear when those dates open, before they go on the booking platforms. A few emails a year, nothing else, and you can leave the list in one click.
